Product description

The PROFI LED Strip series is a product line designed for professional applications. PROFI LED strips are offered under the LED Labs Lighting brand and are covered by an extended warranty period. LED strips with an IP20 rating are covered by a five-year warranty. The PROFI series also features noticeably lower voltage drops compared to standard LED strips. PROFI LED strips are finished with professional Blue Tape mounting tape, allowing immediate installation in a clean LED profile. 

Warm white light colour

Warm white LED light is a very popular choice for residential lighting. Its soft, warm glow is ideal for rooms intended for everyday rest and relaxation. Objects and interiors illuminated with an LED strip in this light colour appear warm, comfortable and inviting. 

IP20 LED strip

IP20 LED strips are among the most commonly used types of LED strips. In areas not exposed to moisture or water, they provide a reliable solution with a long service life. The absence of an additional waterproof coating allows heat to dissipate more efficiently from the LED strip, helping to extend its lifespan. Thanks to a protective coating applied to the LEDs, IP20 LED strips also provide effective protection against dust and dry contaminants. 

See colours in their natural shades

CRI indicates how accurately the colours of illuminated objects are reproduced. The higher the value, the more natural the objects appear, similar to how they look in daylight. Using an LED strip with a CRI value above 90 allows the true colours of objects in the illuminated room to be reproduced accurately.

 

24 V LED strips – lower voltage drops

LED strips with a voltage of 24 V are increasingly chosen by professionals. The higher voltage allows longer sections of LED strip to be installed without the risk of significant voltage drops at the ends of the sections. Due to their lower current draw, 24 V LED strips also allow the use of cables with a smaller cross-section, which can simplify installation design and make the wiring easier to conceal. As a result, 24 V LED strips are becoming increasingly popular. 

Power supply required 

An LED strip requires a power supply. When selecting one, consider the output voltage, installation location and power rating. The output voltage must match the voltage of the LED strip. The required power depends on the power consumption and length of the LED strip section. Multiply the power per metre by the length of the strip. It is recommended to add a 10% reserve to the calculated power supply rating.
