Product description
The 5Y series LED strips are professional LED strips. They are distinguished by high CRI color rendering index. The strips make it possible to obtain a line of light of uniform color, thanks to low color temperature dispersion. They are covered by as long as 7-year warranty. They are embedded on a 3oz PCB substrate, which minimizes voltage drops. The LED strips come with a Tesa 4965 mounting strip.
Cold white color
The LED strip in cold white color, is intended as a decorative element indoors. Due to the ability of a large dispersion of light, the lighting finds rich use in creating light arrangements, as well as in accentuating selected components of equipment. It is well suited for rooms where we need a feeling of sterility. It imparts a feeling of coolness to the room, so it is used in places where we want to relax. It also works well in offices, manufacturing spaces, garages or as strong lighting for advertisements or stores.
IP20
The IP20 strips are only coated with a thin layer of varnish. This does not protect against water or dust, but provides protection against water vapour. The lack of a silicone cover allows for better heat dissipation, which extends the life of the LED strips.
See colors in their natural shades
The CRI value ranges from 0 to 100, with a value of 100 indicating colour reproduction at the level of natural daylight. Most LED products have a CRI of 80, which can be considered suitable for indoor use. A level of 90 and above allows for near-perfect colour reproduction and will work well even in the most demanding areas.
24V LED strip
When installing longer sections of The LED strips, it is worth choosing a 24V strip. This will reduce the voltage drops that could occur when mounting a 12V strip. In addition, slimmer leads can be used to install 24V strips, allowing them to be more easily disguised during installation.
Power Supplies
The LED strips are light sources powered by a low, so-called safety voltage. This means that in order to install the LED lighting system, we need a power supply unit that allows the mains voltage to be reduced to the voltage required by the product being installed. In the case of the LED strips, we are talking about 12V or 24V. When choosing the power supply, it is also necessary to calculate the output of the power supply, which is determined by the length and power of the LED strip used. When selecting the LED power supply, after calculating the power required, it is considered a good practice to increase the value by about 10%.
