Product description
The 3Y LED strip series is a line of products designed for professionals. The 3Y LED strips are branded by LED Labs Lighting and are subject to an extended warranty period. IP 20 rated LED strips are subject to a 5-year warranty period. The use of a 3oz copper PCB underlay has managed to significantly increase their lifespan. The 3Y series also means noticeably lower voltage drops compared to standard LED strips. The 3Y series LED strips are finished with a professional Blue Tape mounting strip, allowing immediate application in a cleaned LED profile.
Neutral white
Neutral colour is the colour that is most similar to sunlight. It is the most versatile colour for LED strips and can be used in both domestic spaces and workplaces. Such light is not tiring to the human eye. Neutral LED strip is also a good solution for office lighting. The neutral white colour is ideal for rooms where we spend a lot of time.
IP20
The IP20 strips are only coated with a thin layer of varnish. This does not protect against water or dust, but provides protection against water vapour. The lack of a silicone cover allows for better heat dissipation, which extends the life of the LED strips.
See colors in their natural shades
A high CRI value guarantees the highest colour quality of illuminated items. The higher the parameter, the more natural the appearance of objects. The use of a strip with a CRI parameter above 80 allows to reproduce the real colour of the objects in the room where the LED strip is used.
24V LED strip
Longer light installations do not have to entail voltage drops. Choosing the 24V LED strips means that longer LED strip sections can be used. This is due to the lower current consumption, compared to 12V installations. It also allows the use of smaller cross-sections of wires needed for installation, making them easier to conceal.
Power Supplies
The LED strips are light sources powered by a low, so-called safety voltage. This means that in order to install the LED lighting system, we need a power supply unit that allows the mains voltage to be reduced to the voltage required by the product being installed. In the case of the LED strips, we are talking about 12V or 24V. When choosing the power supply, it is also necessary to calculate the output of the power supply, which is determined by the length and power of the LED strip used. When selecting the LED power supply, after calculating the power required, it is considered a good practice to increase the value by about 10%.
