3Y LED strips have an extended warranty period. 3 years warranty for IP65HS and IP65 tapes and 5 years for IP20 tapes. 3Y tapes also mean lower voltage drops in the created lighting installation. Each LED strip from the 3Y series is equipped with a Blue Tape mounting tape.

24V voltage - lower voltage drops
Thanks to 24V voltage, we can connect up to twice as long sections of LED strips when connecting in series than with 12V LED strips. This is due to lower power consumption. Lower power consumption will also translate into a smaller cross-section of wires needed for installation, which will make it much easier to hide them during installation.

Vivid colors in your apartment thanks to high CRI tape. The indicator shows the difference between the color of the illuminated object and its color in natural light. The higher the parameter, the more natural the colors are. CRI >80 means better appearance of food, clothing and other items.
640 LED 2835 SMD strip
The 2835 diode is a small-sized diode, which is a more powerful version of the 3528 diode. Density is one of the parameters characterizing the LED strip. It indicates how many diodes are placed on a meter of tape. The more diodes there are on the LED strip, the more uniform the light emitted. This, in turn, allows for eliminating the phenomenon of beads, i.e. points of light. In addition to the density, the presence of beads is influenced by the height of the profile in which the tape and the lampshade are placed. Strips with a density of 128 LED/m allow for obtaining a uniform line of light. To prevent the light beads from being visible, it is recommended to install the profile with an appropriate lampshade.
IP20 LED strip
IP20 LED strips are the most commonly used LED strips. Wherever there is no exposure to moisture and water, they are a long-lasting choice. The lack of a cover to strengthen waterproofness improves heat dissipation from the LED strip, which translates into the life expectancy of the LED strip. The LED strip in strips with IP20 tightness copes perfectly with dust and dry contaminants thanks to the protective layer covering the LED diodes.
Requires installation of a power supply
The LED strip requires a low DC voltage of 24V. In order for the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be appropriately selected due to the power of the tape. The power related to 1 meter should be multiplied by the length of the tape in meters. It is worth adding 10% power reserve. Depending on the installation location, you can choose a slim slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
Why is it worth choosing the professional version of the LED strip?
Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.
