Product description
The 3Y LED strips are a series of strips with an extended warranty period. The warranty is 5 years for IP20 strips and 3 years for IP65HS strips. In addition, the strips are characterized by lower voltage drops due to the 3oz copper backing. They are equipped with a Blue Tape mounting strip.
RGBW LED strip
The RGBW LED strip is a strip that shines in the colours of the RGB palette with the possibility of a white colour. You don't have to choose between the unique visual effect of a multicolour strip and the functionality of white light. Change your décor at the touch of a button and adapt the lighting to your needs.
IP20
The IP20 parameter for the LED strips defines the most common degree of waterproofing found on the market. The IP20 strips are the LED strips designed for use where there is no risk of excessive moisture or exposure to water. The LED band specified with such a degree of protection allows exposure to dry dust and dirt, thanks to the protective layer with which the LEDs mounted on the band are covered.
See colors in their natural shades
CRI informs about how the colors of the illuminated object are reproduced. The higher the value, the more natural the items look. Naturally, as if they were illuminated by daylight. The use of a strip with a CRI parameter above 90 allows you to reflect the actual color of objects in the room where the LED strip is used.
24V LED Strip
A 24V LED strip guarantees lower voltage drops compared to a 12V LED strip. This is particularly important when installing longer sections of strip in series. While we recommend connecting the 12V LED strips (with single-sided power supply) in a maximum of 5 metre lengths, the 24V strips allow you to create up to twice as long LED strip sections.
Power supplies
The LED strips require the installation of the power supply. When choosing the power supply, please take into account the output voltage (it must be the same as the LED strip voltage), the mounting location and the power. The power supply depends on the wattage and the length of the LED strip section. The wattage of the strip should be multiplied by its length. We recommend adding a 10% reserve to the calculated power supply output.
Requires installation of LED driver
RGB LED strips require an LED driver to function properly. Thanks to it, it is possible to select color parameters from the RGB color palette. The controller is mounted behind the power supply, so it is important to select the appropriate voltage.
