The 3Y series of LED strips are strips with an extended warranty period. For IP65 and IP65HS strips it is a period of 3 years, for IP20 strips it is up to 5 years of warranty! In addition, the 3Y series strips are characterized by lower voltage drops due to the 3oz copper PCB substrate used. The strips feature a double-sided Blue Tape mounting strip.
RGB + CCT LED strip is a strip with which you can completely change the atmosphere of a room. The RGB strip allows you to choose a colour from the RGB colour palette or warm or cold white light. It is used in spaces where you want light in different shades, with the option of switching on white light. It can be used in the living room, on a media wall, in a children's room or as a gaming desk backlight.
The IP20 strips are only coated with a thin layer of varnish. This does not protect against water or dust, but provides protection against water vapour. The lack of a silicone cover allows for better heat dissipation, which extends the life of the LED strips.
CRI informs about how the colors of the illuminated object are reproduced. The higher the value, the more natural the items look. Naturally, as if they were illuminated by daylight. The use of a strip with a CRI parameter above 90 allows you to reflect the actual color of objects in the room where the LED strip is used.
The LED strips are light sources powered by a low, so-called safety voltage. This means that in order to install the LED lighting system, we need a power supply unit that allows the mains voltage to be reduced to the voltage required by the product being installed. In the case of the LED strips, we are talking about 12V or 24V. When choosing the power supply, it is also necessary to calculate the output of the power supply, which is determined by the length and power of the LED strip used. When selecting the LED power supply, after calculating the power required, it is considered a good practice to increase the value by about 10%.
The RGB LED strips (RGBW, CCT, RGB+CCT) need a LED driver to work properly. This allows the parameters to be selected (depending on the strip: colour from the RGB colour palette, warm or cold colour temperature, white light or from the RGB colour palette). The driver is mounted behind the power supply, so it is important to choose the right voltage.
