3Y LED strips have a warranty period of 5 years for strips with IP20 protection and 3 years for LED strips with IP65HS protection. The diodes are mounted on a PCB substrate containing 3oz copper, thanks to which they are characterized by lower voltage drops. The LED strips are equipped with a professional Blue Tape mounting tape.
Cold white
Cold white lighting has stimulating properties. Such lighting is used in workplaces, offices and shared work spaces. Cool shades of light give the impression of sterility, which is why they are often used in beauty, dental and medical offices.
24V voltage - lower voltage drops
Longer lighting installations do not have to involve voltage drops. The choice of 24V LED strips allows the use of longer sections of LED strip. This is due to lower current consumption compared to 12V installations. This also allows the use of smaller cable cross-sections needed for installation, which will make them easier to hide.
See colors in their natural shades
Depending on the lighting, objects may have different colors. How close the colors of the illuminated object are to the colors seen in daylight is determined by the CRI parameter. A value above 80 allows for true color rendering, which means more vivid colors in food, clothing and other objects.
IP20 LED strip
LED strips with IP20 protection class are covered with a thin protective layer, which protects them against small pollutants. However, they do not have any additional protection, therefore they are not recommended in applications where increased resistance to moisture is required.
Requires installation of a power supply
Each LED strip needs a properly selected power supply to operate. When choosing a power supply, you should take into account the voltage (for 24V tapes, a 24V power supply), the power of the tape and the place where the power supply will ultimately be located. The power of the power supply depends on the power of the tape, taking into account its length. The power of the LED strip given for one meter should be multiplied by its length. It is recommended to add 10% of the power supply reserve. Depending on the installation location, furniture power supplies, hermetic power supplies, and slim power supplies are available.
Why is it worth choosing the professional version of the LED strip?
Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.
An additional advantage of using professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.
Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. When deciding to install a professional LED strip, we are almost 100% sure that each roll of the strip will have the same color and luminous flux.
