3Y LED strips have an extended warranty period. 3 years warranty for IP65HS and IP65 tapes and 5 years for IP20 tapes. 3Y tapes also mean lower voltage drops in the created lighting installation. Each LED strip from the 3Y series is equipped with a Blue Tape mounting tape.
RGBCW LED strip
The RGBCW LED strip is a multicolor strip with the option of obtaining a cold white color. RGB diodes allow you to obtain light in colors from the RGB color palette, and additional diodes emit cold white light. The LED strip requires the installation of a controller that allows you to change the color of the light and turn on the white light.
IP20 LED strip
LED strips with an IP20 protection level are covered with a thin protective layer, which protects them against small pollutants. However, they do not have any additional protection, therefore they are not recommended in applications where increased resistance to moisture is required.
24V LED strips — lower voltage drops
24V LED strips are an increasingly popular choice among professionals designing LED lighting systems. Thanks to the use of increased voltage, the LED strip allows the use of longer sections without the risk of voltage drops, which manifest themselves in asymmetrical light intensity over the entire section of the LED strip. 300 LED 5050 SMD strip
The 5050 diode is a larger diode than the frequently encountered 3528 and 2835 diodes. The increased size allows for greater light emission. Often used as functional lighting, e.g. for lighting a bathroom mirror. Strips with a density of 60 LEDs per meter enable a uniform line of light. To avoid visible light points, it is recommended to use an LED profile with an appropriate lampshade.

LED strips are light sources powered by low, so-called safe voltage. This means that to install an LED lighting system, we need a power supply that allows the mains voltage to be reduced to the voltage required by the product being installed. In the case of LED strips, we are talking about 12V or 24V voltage. When choosing a power supply, it is also necessary to calculate the power of the power supply, which results from the length and power of the LED strip used. When selecting an LED power supply, after calculating the required power, it is good practice to increase the value by approximately 10%.

Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of diodes is at a much higher level, thanks to which we can obtain a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
