A characteristic feature of the tape is the use of a COB (Chip on Board) diode. The use of COB technology allows you to obtain a uniform light line even when using the lowest LED profiles. An additional advantage of using COB diodes in LED strips is a wider angle of light dispersion and high light efficiency. COB diodes emit a much better light beam compared to older LED technologies with lower energy consumption.
The 3Y LED strip series is a line of products intended for professionals. 3Y LED strips are signed with the LED Labs Lighting brand and covered by an extended warranty period. LED strips with an IP 20 rating are subject to a five-year warranty period. Thanks to the use of a PCB primer with 3oz copper, it was possible to significantly increase their service life. The 3Y series also has noticeably lower voltage drops compared to standard LED strips. The 3Y series LED strips are finished with a professional Blue Tape mounting tape, allowing for immediate application in a cleaned LED profile.

The choice of 24V LED strips is a solution increasingly chosen by professionals. Thanks to the use of higher voltage, the designed LED lighting system allows for the installation of longer sections of LED strip without the risk of voltage drops at the ends of the strip sections. Due to lower power consumption, 24V LED strips also allow the use of smaller cables, which can be helpful when designing installations. The CRI value ranges from 0 to 100. A value of 100 means color reproduction at the level of natural daylight. Most LED products have a CRI of 80, which can be considered suitable for indoor use. Level 90 and higher allows for almost perfect color reproduction and will work even in the most demanding places.
Visible light points in the LED strip are the result of the point arrangement of LED diodes. The more diodes there are on the tape, the more uniform the light we will obtain. Thanks to the use of COB (chip on board) diodes, a larger number of diodes and the emission of a better light beam do not require higher power consumption compared to SMD tapes.
The LED strip requires a low DC voltage of 24V. In order for the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be appropriately selected due to the power of the tape. The power related to 1 meter should be multiplied by the length of the tape in meters. It is worth adding 10% power reserve. Depending on the installation location, you can choose a slim slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
