3Y LED strips are strips with a PCB backing containing 3oz copper, which reduces voltage drops. The tapes are covered by an extended warranty (5 years for IP20 tapes and 3 years for IP65HS tapes). Each tape in this series is equipped with Blue Tape mounting tape.
The RGBNW LED strip is a strip that glows in colors from the RGB palette, with the option of obtaining a neutral white color. You don't have to choose between the unique visual effect of multicolor tape and the functionality of white light. Change the decor with one button and adjust the lighting to your needs.
IP20 tapes are covered only with a thin layer of varnish. This does not protect against water or dust, but provides protection against water vapor. The lack of a silicone cover allows for better heat dissipation, which extends the life of the LED strip.
The 5050 diode is a larger diode than the frequently encountered 3528 and 2835 diodes. The tape density is the number of diodes on the tape. There are no beads, i.e. visible points of light, on high-density tapes. The higher the density of the LED strip, the more uniform the light is. LED strips with a density of 60 LEDs per meter are strips in which it is possible to obtain uniform light. By selecting the appropriate profile and lampshade, you can achieve the effect of a line of light.
The LED strip requires the installation of a power supply. When choosing a power supply, you should take into account the output voltage (it must be the same as the voltage of the LED strip), installation location and power. The power of the power supply depends on the power and length of the LED strip section. The power of the tape should be multiplied by its length. We recommend adding a 10% margin to the calculated power of the power supply.
RGBNW LED strips require an LED driver to function properly. Thanks to it, it is possible to select color parameters from the RGB color palette or change to neutral white light. The controller is mounted behind the power supply, so it is important to select the appropriate voltage.
Professional LED strips are a proven and thoroughly tested product in our photometric laboratory. Many years of experience in the lighting industry have allowed us to refine important details regarding high-quality LED strips and their long-term durability.
Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.
An additional advantage of using professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.
Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of diodes is at a much higher level, thanks to which we can obtain a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
