Product description
The 3Y series of LED strips are strips with an extended warranty period. For tapes with protection class IP65 and IP65HS, the warranty period is 3 years, for IP20 tapes, it is a 5-year warranty! Additionally, 3Y series tapes are characterized by lower voltage drops thanks to the PCB backing used with 3oz copper. The tapes have double-sided Blue Tape mounting tape.
RGB+CCT LED strip
RGB + CCT LED strip is a strip that can completely change the atmosphere of a room. The tape allows you to choose a color from the RGB color palette or warm or cold white light. It is used in spaces where we want to obtain light in different shades, with the option of turning on white lighting. It can be used in the living room, on a media wall, in a child's room, or as a backlight for a gaming desk.
IP20 LED strip
IP20 tapes are covered only with a thin layer of varnish. This does not protect against water or dust, but provides protection against water vapor. The lack of a silicone cover allows for better heat dissipation, which extends the life of the LED strip.
Requires installation of a power supply
The LED strip requires a low DC voltage of 12V. In order for the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be appropriately selected due to the power of the tape. The power related to 1 meter should be multiplied by the length of the tape in meters. It is worth adding 10% power reserve. Depending on the installation location, you can choose a slim slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
Requires installation of LED driver
A driver is needed to install the RGB+CCT LED strip. Thanks to it, it is possible to change the color from the RGB color palette or select the color temperature. When choosing a driver, an important parameter is voltage (the driver is mounted between the power supply and the LED strip).
Why is it worth choosing the professional version of the LED strip?
Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.
An additional advantage of using professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.
Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of diodes is at a much higher level, thanks to which we can obtain a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
