Product description

The 3Y series of LED strips are strips with an extended warranty period. For tapes with protection class IP65 and IP65HS, the warranty period is 3 years, for IP20 tapes, it is a 5-year warranty! Additionally, 3Y series tapes are characterized by lower voltage drops thanks to the PCB backing used with 3oz copper. The tapes have double-sided Blue Tape mounting tape.

CCT LED strip

Warm or cold white light? You don't have to choose! The CCT LED strip allows you to change the color temperature of the LED strip. Change the atmosphere of the room with one button: cozy warm light or stimulating cold shades. The CCT strip requires the installation of an LED driver.

IP20 LED strip

LED strips with IP20 protection class are covered with a thin protective layer, which protects them against small pollutants. However, they do not have any additional protection, therefore they are not recommended in applications where increased resistance to moisture is required.

See colors in their natural shades

When choosing an LED strip, it is worth paying attention to the CRI parameter, the value of which determines how close the light color is to natural daylight. This affects the way our eyes perceive illuminated objects. The value of the RA parameter is measured in the range from 0 to 100, where the maximum result reflects the effect of daylight. This is the most desirable value. LED strips with a parameter above CRI>80 allow for natural color reproduction on illuminated objects.

300 LED 5050 SMD strip

The 5050 diode is a diode with a larger size than the frequently encountered 3528 and 2835 diodes. The increased size allows for greater light emission. The density of the LED strip included in the product name is nothing more than the number of diodes mounted on one meter of the LED strip. The number of LEDs per meter of the LED strip affects the uniformity of illumination of the strip mounted in the LED profile. To obtain the desired effect of a uniform line of light, you should consider the densest possible LED strip, especially where the application takes place in a shallow LED profile, which may limit the dispersion of light emitted by LED diodes. The density of the strip also has a direct impact on the frequency of marked cutting places of the LED strip. Strips with a density of 60 LEDs per meter enable a uniform line of light. To avoid visible light points, it is recommended to use an LED profile with an appropriate lampshade.

Requires installation of a power supply

The LED strip requires the installation of a power supply. When choosing a power supply, you should take into account the output voltage (it must be the same as the voltage of the LED strip), installation location and power. The power of the power supply depends on the power and length of the LED strip section. The power of the tape should be multiplied by its length. We recommend adding a 10% margin to the calculated power of the power supply.

Requires installation of LED driver

A driver is needed to install the CCT LED strip. Thanks to it, it is possible to change the color temperature. When choosing a driver, an important parameter is voltage (the driver is mounted between the power supply and the LED strip).

Why is it worth choosing the professional version of the LED strip?

Professional LED strips are a proven and thoroughly tested product in our photometric laboratory. Many years of experience in the lighting industry have allowed us to refine important details regarding high-quality LED strips and their long-term durability.

Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.

An additional advantage of using professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.

Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of diodes is at a much higher level, thanks to which we can obtain a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
