When choosing an LED strip, it is worth paying attention to the CRI parameter, the value of which determines how close the light color is to natural daylight. This affects the way our eyes perceive illuminated objects. The value of the RA parameter is measured in the range from 0 to 100, where the maximum result reflects the effect of daylight. This is the most desirable value. LED strips with a parameter above CRI>80 allow for natural color reproduction on illuminated objects.
24V
Longer lighting installations do not have to involve voltage drops. The choice of 24V LED strips allows the use of longer sections of LED strip. This is due to lower current consumption compared to 12V installations. This also allows the use of smaller cable cross-sections needed for installation, which will make them easier to hide.
IP20
Tapes with a protection level of IP20 are recommended for use in places where there is no moisture or heavy pollution. The lack of a silicone cover, which is present in IP65 tapes, makes the tape better dissipate heat, which increases its durability.
Power adapter required
Installation of the LED strip requires the use of an LED power supply allowing for obtaining a low output voltage corresponding to the voltage of the LED strip used. When choosing an LED power supply, we must also remember to calculate the necessary power of the power supplies.
