LUMINES Lighting New Arrivals – SFERO Round LED Profile
We are pleased to present a new addition to the LUMINES Lighting range – the SFERO round LED profile, also available as complete systems. This solution has been developed for architects and designers looking for cohesive, refined, and flexible lighting forms tailored to contemporary spaces. The profiles are available in lengths of: 1 m, 2 m, and 3 m.
SFERO LED profile
SFERO is a circular LED profile made of durable polycarbonate (PC), designed to create consistent and aesthetically refined lines of light. Its construction ensures uniform light emission around the entire circumference of the profile. The profile is suitable for various mounting methods – as a suspended luminaire (in vertical or horizontal orientation) or surface-mounted, allowing flexible adaptation to project requirements. A mixed configuration is also possible – suspending the luminaire on one side and mounting it to a wall on the other. The profile is available both as a standalone component and as ready-to-install sets. Ready-to-install SFERO LED systems include a double-threaded profile, flexible SFERO FLEX LED neon, and matching end caps for the neon, enabling quick and convenient creation of complete luminaires.
SFERO FLEX LED neon
The fully compatible light source dedicated to the SFERO profile is the LUMINES SFERO FLEX LED neon, available in two color temperatures: 2700 K and 4000 K. These are flexible LED neons designed to create smooth, spatial lighting forms without geometric limitations, with the ability to cut at every LED. With 360° light emission, a high color rendering index (CRI ≥95), and IP65 protection, they enable cohesive installations – both indoors and in demanding environmental conditions. A matte, wear-resistant finish ensures durability and an aesthetically pleasing appearance over time. The flexible construction allows for both gentle arcs and custom three-dimensional forms, while full compatibility with the SFERO system enables complete lighting solutions. SFERO FLEX LED neon is available with dedicated accessories, including transparent clips, end caps with and without a hole, silicone, and mounting components.
Dedicated accessories
The SFERO system is complemented by dedicated mounting accessories, providing full configuration flexibility. Aluminium end caps in MS1, MS2 and MS3 variants (with or without a hole) allow the mounting method to be tailored to a specific application – from vertical and horizontal suspended installations to mixed solutions. SFERO MS2 mounting clips allow luminaires to be installed parallel to a wall or ceiling, ensuring an aesthetic and precise alignment of the light line. Available suspension kits and metal cable locks ensure stable and safe installation of the system as a suspended luminaire.
