The 3Y LED strips come with a warranty period of 5 years for IP20 rated strips and 3 years for IP65HS rated LED strips. The LEDs are embedded on a 3oz copper PCB substrate, so they exhibit lower voltage drops. The LED strips are equipped with a professional Blue Tape mounting strip.
The warm white color of the lighting will emphasize the cozy character of the room. It will work well in apartments, especially in the bedroom and living room. It will help you relax and calm down. It is a hue reminiscent of the color known from traditional light bulbs.
Longer light installations do not have to entail voltage drops. Choosing the 24V LED strips means that longer LED strip sections can be used. This is due to the lower current consumption, compared to 12V installations. It also allows the use of smaller cross-sections of wires needed for installation, making them easier to conceal.
The colour rendering index CRI is a parameter that provides information on how the colours of illuminated objects are perceived. The value of the parameter ranges from 0 to 100, where the higher the value, the better the rendering of the actual colours of items. A value of 100 means that colours are perceived as if they were illuminated by daylight. With a high CRI value (>80 Ra), food looks more appetising and objects on the shop shelves show real colours.
The IP20 parameter for the LED strips defines the most common degree of waterproofing found on the market. The IP20 strips are the LED strips designed for use where there is no risk of excessive moisture or exposure to water. The LED band specified with such a degree of protection allows exposure to dry dust and dirt, thanks to the protective layer with which the LEDs mounted on the band are covered.
The LED strips require the installation of the power supply. When choosing the power supply, please take into account the output voltage (it must be the same as the LED strip voltage), the mounting location and the power. The power supply depends on the wattage and the length of the LED strip section. The wattage of the strip should be multiplied by its length. We recommend adding a 10% reserve to the calculated power supply output.
