3Y LED strips are a series of strips with an extended warranty period. The warranty is 5 years for tapes with IP20 protection level and 3 years for IP65HS tapes. Additionally, the tapes are characterized by lower voltage drops thanks to the 3oz copper backing. Equipped with Blue Tape mounting tape.

IP65HS LED strip
IP65 Heat Shrink is a solution that involves using a heat shrink band around the entire LED strip. Unlike the silicone coating that protects classic IP65 LED strips, this allows for maintaining high lighting parameters with very high resistance to moisture and splashes.
24V voltage - lower voltage drops
Longer lighting installations do not have to involve voltage drops. The choice of 24V LED strips allows the use of longer sections of LED strip. This is due to lower current consumption compared to 12V installations. This also allows the use of smaller cable cross-sections needed for installation, which makes it easier to hide them.

The CRI value ranges from 0 to 100. A value of 100 means color reproduction at the level of natural daylight. Most LED products have a CRI of 80, which can be considered suitable for indoor use. Level 90 and higher allows for almost perfect color reproduction and will work even in the most demanding places.

The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the LED strip. 24V tapes require a power supply with an output voltage of 24V. Another important aspect is appropriate power. The power of the power supply must be adapted to the power and length of the tape being installed. If the length of the LED strip is 5 m, the power of the LED strip should be multiplied by 5.
