Product description

A characteristic feature of the tape is the use of a COB (Chip on Board) diode. The use of COB technology allows you to obtain a uniform light line even when using the lowest LED profiles. An additional advantage of using COB diodes in LED strips is a wider angle of light dispersion and high light efficiency. COB diodes emit a much better light beam compared to older LED technologies with lower energy consumption.

The 3Y series of LED strips are strips with an extended warranty period. For tapes with protection class IP65 and IP65HS, the warranty period is 3 years, for IP20 tapes, it is a 5-year warranty! Additionally, 3Y series tapes are characterized by lower voltage drops thanks to the PCB backing used with 3oz copper. The tapes have double-sided Blue Tape mounting tape.

Cold white

Cold white is a color with a blue glow. When installed in a room, it gives a sense of sterility. The color of cold white light stimulates the body to work. It will work well where concentration is needed.

24V voltage - lower voltage drops

Longer lighting installations do not have to involve voltage drops. The choice of 24V LED strips allows the use of longer sections of LED strip. This is due to lower current consumption compared to 12V installations. This also allows the use of smaller cable cross-sections needed for installation, which will make them easier to hide.

2640 LED COB strip

Visible light points in the LED strip are the result of the point arrangement of LED diodes. The more diodes there are on the tape, the more uniform the light we will obtain. Thanks to the use of COB (chip on board) diodes, a larger number of diodes and the emission of a better light beam do not require higher power consumption compared to SMD tapes.

IP20 LED strip

IP20 LED strips, although they do not have a silicone cover, are covered with a thin protective layer. It is an insulator that protects the product against minor contamination. The tape is used in places where there is no need to use products with increased water resistance.

Requires installation of a power supply

The LED strip requires a low DC voltage of 24V. In order for the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be appropriately selected due to the power of the tape. The power related to 1 meter should be multiplied by the length of the tape in meters. It is worth adding 10% power reserve. Depending on the installation location, you can choose a slim slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
